In order to keep the forums running smoothly, informative and free from problems please follow these simple rules below when using the My Mummy and Me forums.

General Forum Rules
We love to hear your views, encourage opinion, lively debate and discussion but we will not tolerate rudeness, insults, personal attacks or purposeless inflammatory posts. We will remove any such posts and close down forum strings (with no notice required) if we are alerted to such actions by our team or fellow members. Our decision is final in these matters and we retain the right to remove repeat offenders from the My Mummy & Me web site membership database. Other basic rules we kindly ask you to remember are mainly common sense and as follows below:
Non-suitable material
1. Discussion of illegal activities is not allowed
2. We do not allow posts that are sexual in nature, or violate standards of reasonable good behaviour
3. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice
4. The My Mummy and Me team will be the sole arbitrator of what does and doesn't violate these standards
Posting
5. Please only post in English, except when using well-know foreign phrases that have been incorporated into everyday language
6. Each member is allowed one login account (registering with multiple accounts is not allowed)
7. Multiple or repeated posting (in order to increase your post count) is not allowed
8. Advertising, spamming and trolling (making deliberately inflammatory or provocative comments) is not allowed
9. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) nonsense posts
External
10. While we are quite happy to have constructive comparative conversations about a competitor's website, we will not tolerate blatant adverts
11. You may not post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal
12. We would really appreciate it if you refrain from blatantly 'bashing' other forums - or indeed this one
Advertising, Links, Solicitation & Avatars
13. We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations
14. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited
15. Links in signatures are not allowed
16. Animated avatars are not allowed. Sorry
17. Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed
Disclaimer
18. While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything
19. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way
20. We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates the forum rules. Access to this community is a privilege and not a right.
